How are SNICKERS® Ice Cream Bars made?
The ice cream ingredients are combined according to the recipe and the mixture is then pasteurized. After pasteurization, the ice cream is combined with peanut butter for flavor, frozen using conventional ice cream making equipment and then formed into bars. A layer of caramel and peanuts is placed onto the ice cream, then frozen and covered with a chocolate coating. Once hardened, the individual bars are inspected, wrapped and packaged in various ways: boxes of single bars, multi-packs, and then finally in cases for shipment. The bars are kept frozen throughout the entire distribution system.

How are SNICKERS® Ice Cream Cones made?
At the ice cream cone machine, baked ice cream cones are deposited into special holders, and chocolate is sprayed into the cones in a specified pattern to create the chocolate nugget at the cone bottom. Then, peanut butter ice cream is drawn from an ice cream freezer, mixed with chocolate sauce and the ice cream is piped to a valve station on the filler. At this station, the ice cream is mixed with a swirl of caramel and peanuts to form the center of the cone. Additional chocolate and peanuts are placed on the cone top. A lid is then heat-sealed into the cone sleeve. After being flash-frozen to maintain a smooth, creamy ice cream, the cones are packaged for shipment.
